Five years ago, most people trusted that the air in their office was safe to breathe-free from chemicals like VOCs and formaldehyde with a high enough air flow that you didn’t fear getting sick from the person across the room. Then the pandemic happened. What very few people understood until that time was that there is no comprehensive indoor air quality standard in the United States - which holds globally as well - despite well-established water and outdoor air quality that have existed for over 50 years. As such, we must trust that our organizations and the buildings where we spend time in have good air quality. But how do we do that?
In addition, we must balance improved air quality with energy efficiency and hybrid work scenarios, bringing into focus questions such as:
“What is the cost of improved air quality for organizations?”
“What’s more important-human health or climate change?”
“Where is the healthiest place to work?”
This webcast will discuss how the answers can be found in demonstrating the value, process, and opportunity to link human health and climate change together, to link healthy offices with hybrid work options, and to link good business with productive engaged workers.
